Welcome to Victory School of Dance based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. We offer you specialist dance tuition by fully qualified instructors in Ballroom/Latin/Classical Sequence/Freestyle in a friendly atmosphere.

Classes or Individual Tuition

Whether you prefer to come along and join a class or have private tuition the choice is yours. The option is there if you would like to work towards taking your medal tests with the IDTA and we offer some medal classes to work in.

Some people prefer individual tuition in a private lesson which can be easily arranged by mutual agreement.

Qualified Teachers

Victory School of Dance are proud to have 3 fully qualified teachers, who together have over 30 years of experience:

  • Elaine Hardy (IDTA AB, AL, ACSq)
  • Chloe Bashford (IDTA AF)

Classes

For a breakdown of the dancing classes we teach visit the 'classes' page. We have beginners, improvers, intermediate ballroom and latin classes for adults, as you progress you can move up a class. Beginner's ballroom and latin classes run all year round. Just contact us and we will endeavour to fit you in.

Children

Children's dancing classes from 3½ up to 16 years are catered for on a Saturday morning.

Social Nights

We hold regular ballroom and latin dance nights for our students where you can socialize and practice the steps that you have learned. Check the 'events' page for more social dance night details.
